Ava Schaefer

Ava (she/they), has taken acting classes since 5 years old, practically performing their whole life! Having graduated from AFKT’s Masters Program, Ava is currently taking ongoing classes with The Studio Northwest. They were on their high school’s thespian board for 3 years and was elected Troupe President their senior year. Ava also has a background in improv and greatly enjoys incorporating it into their work. They love every aspect of film making from acting to directing, cinematography and even taking on the role of PA!

Outside of film making, Ava enjoys photography, biology, and exploring nature. As a camp counselor, Ava enjoys working with youth in educational, professional, and entertainment settings. While they have received some inclusivity training, Ava knows there’s still so much to learn, which is what makes working with so many different people so incredible.

Ava loves collaborating with others and taking risks in their work. They approach life with a sense of curiosity, constantly searching for learning opportunities and having fun while doing so!
