Candace McDowell

Candace loves the art of storytelling. Acting gives her a space to bring stories to life. Her depth of connection to her characters and her ability to be present draws an audience into whatever she is performing. She is also a writer and singer and has volunteered for various non-profits that involve facilitating conversation, leadership, and public speaking. She credits both her B.A. in English and her M.A. in Organizational Leadership in helping her connect with both people and story.

Family and friendship are important to her. She is often helping coach and cheer on her children in soccer, track, and music and enjoys taking them to the occasional concert or Comic Con! She loves to travel, do family genealogy research, and spend time hiking in nature or relaxing at the lake. She believes that all life experiences add to her understanding of the world and her depth as an actor.
