Esperanza Zagal

Esperanza loves yoga, especially sweating it out in hot yoga. She adores sunshine and a good summer hike, searching to the highest peaks. One of her fondest memories is backpacking Kings Peak, the tallest mountain in Utah, with her dad and sister. Esperanza delights in collecting wild camping stories to endlessly recount to friends.

She is a classically trained violinist, studying at the Peabody Institute, but had to stop playing due to a neck sprain. Esperanza now tries to channel that musicality through voice, choir, and performing. She can still play a pretty strong air-violin.

Esperanza is obsessed with health and science and wishes good health and abundant learning for her fellow humans.
